Battles Again!

Item #1

I am flying home from a great meeting at Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield, California. That is one of the friendliest churches I have ever been in! Each of the three services Sunday morning was packed. Total attendance was well over 5,000 in the morning plus a great evening service with a spirited Q&A. That was my first seminar in Bakersfield and about 90% of the people said they had never seen one of our videos or been to a seminar. With well over 2 million videos plus millions of copies circulating around for 17 years now that was refreshing to get an entirely new audience to preach to.

There were quite a few teachers and school board members who attended and loved the information they received. The atheists should have problems teaching their religion for years to come after this weekend!

Item #2

On the home front, my son-in-law, Paul Jewell, is still in the hospital in very serious condition as the rapidly spreading cancer is causing him great pain. My daughter, Marlissa, has been a real trouper through this trying time. Thanks to all who have sent letters of encouragement and finances to help them keep going.

Item #3

We are looking to purchase or take over a camp to start a second DAL (or move the existing one-see item #4) with week long creation camps. If you know of a camp or ranch or suitable acreage that might be available please let us know.

Item #4

Dinosaur Adventure Land (DAL) began in 2001 as a part of the Church ministry known as Creation Science Evangelism (CSE). CSE has been working to fulfill the commands of Christ in evangelizing and teaching His Word especially in the area of creation, dinosaurs and the Bible since 1989.

Last week Circuit Judge Michael Allen ordered two of our DAL buildings closed over the permit issue even though the proper parties were never noticed, the mediation settlement proposal offered by the Church 4 months ago has never been answered and the buildings have been open for 5 years, have had 60,000 visitors from all 50 states and 70 foreign countries without a single problem or complaint over health or safety. The buildings have also withstood two major hurricanes with no significant damage. They have been inspected by two engineers and two certified electricians, all of whom said they and are fine.

The only issue is one of control over God’s Church. The Church ministry has worked with the county over the years in every way possible to have the county recognize their sincerely held religious conviction but the county will not accommodate them in any way.

The entire illegal saga is documented on www.richardsayshome.com. The battle is far from over so keep praying for us as we defend the Lordship of Christ over His Church. A few nearsighted Christians have not agreed with our stand but many others have sent letters of support.

DAL’s two buildings, the Science Center and the Museum, will be closed until this can be resolved.

Chief Building inspector Don Mayo and Escambia County Assistant Attorney Allison Perdue Rogers have been asking the court to close down DAL and bulldoze the Creation Museum and Bible Science Center buildings since they opened. The Church ministry has consistently taken the position that the head of the church is Jesus Christ and for the church to pay what amounts to a tax for a building permit is in violation of the constitutions of both Florida and the United States. See RFRA and RELUPA.

Nearly everyone who comes for a visit loves DAL and tells their friends to come. The county inspections department has been invited many times to come inspect the buildings and offer any suggestions or advice on issues of concern regarding health or safety. They even obtained an inspection warrant and did come 2 years ago and have reported no problems. The entire issue is one of control over the Lord’s Church.

Glen Stoll of Remedies at Law manages the ministry to insure everything done here is lawful, safe and glorifies God. Their web site is www.remediesatlaw.com.

He has met with the county inspectors and attorney Allison Rogers many times and even sent in a proposed settlement after mediation but the county has not responded to the proposal.

DAL can move to a more God fearing county.

What you can do to help:

The Escambia County Commissioners have the power to stop this madness in 3 seconds with a simple vote as can be seen on www.richardsayshome.com Download the file “Urgent-Help needed” to get their numbers and addresses. Every letter and call helps. Everyone concerned should be pounding their doors down with complains, calls and letters until this is settled. These “public servants” respond to this like they always have. Mark 12:12 “And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.”

Donald Mayo, Escambia County building inspector has been invited to inspect the buildings many times and the Church has had two engineers and two electricians inspect them independently but that is not good enough for Mayo. He says the Church must get his permission to build in this county. He intends to keep the buildings closed by force and may even bulldoze them if the Church does not comply. He can also end this in 3 seconds by issuing a permit and certificate of occupancy in his own name or the name of the county and filing it in their files. He knows this but seems to have a personal vendetta against the work of the Lord here.

The County attorney Allison Rogers can stop this by simply dropping the case.

Sheriff Ron McNesby can simply refuse to help shut down the Lord’s Church. Hitler’s men should have refused his orders. George Bush told the Iraqi soldiers to refuse any orders to set oil wells on fire.

Judge Michael G. Allen can stop this in 3 seconds by rescinding his order.

God can stop this II Kings 1 style in zero seconds!

More later, Kent Hovind

Hmmm… I have a few friends in that area. I will check with them to see if they know of any land available. I assume you don’t want to go to far out of that area or I would look elsewhere.

I will keep praying. I wonder if a good petition would change anyone’s mind. Have you ever considered starting a petition?

Regarding issue 2. Sorry to hear the news about your son in law. You’ve probably tried everything and anything though I’ll go thru what I know. High doses of Vitamin C could help( 10 grams per day plus in this case), hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Strange artifacts about his body or in the home(jewellery, paintings, figurines etc) can cause ailments and disease, particularly stuff brought home from abroad. Might wanna give the house a thorough going through.

Also do a google search on a man named Royal Raymond Rife. Another man persecuted for his knowledge and technology. God bless on your journey to find a cure.

On item #3: What about in the Memphis, TN Area… Or just outside it. (Rossville, TN) My church owns a large plot of land in this fast growing area. Let me know, and I’ll talk to my pastor. On item #4: I can understand them closing the buildings, but if they are private property how can they bulldose them? Seems there ought to be some legal loop there to at least protect your buildings. On item #2: I will be praying for him. Keep us posted! On item #1: I’m glad you were able to reach out to so many people! Your ministry is so importaint! May the Lord protect, and prosper your ministry!
