Why is it that we observe stratified fossils? Some creationists claim that some species managed to reach high ground or floated to explain why they’re not found in lower layers. This is clearly obsurd because not all members of one species would be entirely more able to reach higher ground than all members of another species and floating wouldn’t be unique to certain plant species.

Dear Dr. Hovind, I wanted to let you know what difference your teachings has had on our family and marriage. We went to a homeschooling conference 3 years ago where they had seminars about creation. On the way home my husband and I were in awe bc although we both believed in God, we had both been raised in public schools of thought where the world was millions of years old and we evolved from apes. This started our quest for truth and we somehow came across your DVDs. I’m not sure how it happened but we both became Christians not long after that and love the Lord with all our heart. Please keep us in your prayers bc the devil attacks you once you start working for the Lord. We believe in what you and your family are doing and pray for your release. Keep up the good work!!

Dr. Hovind, My name is Stan, from the Philippines, in a little city called Cagayan de Oro. I really don’t have a question, but I would like to sincerely THANK YOU, for your website, videos and available slides. YOU SAVED MY FAITH. i was almost seduced to believing in evolution, but praise GOD for what you do, I woke up to the truth, and that’s thanks to GOD and YOU sir. I am now starting my little CREATION MISSION here in Cagayan de Oro, although I get a lot of hater’s and scoffers, I just don’t let them bother me, cause I know It’l be worth it all someday. Me and my girlfriend have already made a list of places we would like to visit when we have enough money, and one of the places that I would really love to visit one day is DINOSAUR ADVENTURE LAND. I really look forward to meeting you, your wife (not just a picture of her, hehehe) your whole family and staff! And I might have land a job as a radio dj (crossing fingers) and when that happens, I will use it to spread the word on CREATION that’s for sure. Anyway, I do pray for safety and early release, I would love to see you in person someday doing a CREATION seminar, man! would I love that! hehehe. Stay strong sir, and know in your heart that your work wasn’t in vain, i mean, you saved my faith, wa-a-a-a-ay over here in the Philippines, and counts for something in my book. God bless you sir, I will continue to pray for you, and God willing, I will see you someday. It would be an honor to shake your hand sir.

I’m starting a Christian band, and it seems almost impossible to find talent. One guy I know is wanting to join but he drinks and does pot. I wanna try to witness to him, but yet, the bible does seem to clearly state to stay away from these kind of people (at least when they are in the act of committing the transgression).

I want to make certain that Dr. & Mrs. Hovind know how much we love them and are grateful for them. 6 years ago, I was a punk high school student arguing with my biology teacher and looking for a college I could study creation science at after I graduated. Today I am a junior in college. A Physics major, working under a NASA Space Grant, conducting research into the age determinations of deep-sky objects. The more I study, the more I am confident in Christ, in creation, and in what Dr. Hovind has already stated. Knowing a loving CREATOR makes studying science worth it! One day, I thoroughly intend to establish the creation science college I was looking for, thank you Dr. Hovind, know that your work is in good hands.

We spend so much time trying to battle the theory of evolution but what are some good arguments against theistic evolution other than no death before sin?

    Thank You and God Bless!!

    Hello Mr Hovind!

First off God Bless You! I was turned on to the evidence of creation when I stumbled across one of your vids on YouTube. Thank you for bringing up the scientific evidences for creation and your boy Eric is following in your footsteps very well so far.

I battle evo’s on YouTube over evidence for/against evolution all the time and some of the things I can’t seem to get answers from them on are the following. I’m hoping you’ll add these items to your arsenal for proof of creation. I looked through many ‘peer reviewed’ articles and none of them really touch on the items below. There may be arguments that squelch these things but as of right now I’ve never been able to find ANYONE that could answer these things from an evolution standpoint without incorporating their own ‘faith’, ‘beliefs’, or adding their evolutionary ‘religion’ into their proof. Here they are:

    1. Many mountains and rock strata show signs of bending and folding within the layers themselves. If these mountains formed over ‘millions and millions’ of years then how could this folding have occurred without the rocks breaking apart? These mountains must have been folded while at extreme temperatures while they were still ‘plastic’ and if that’s the case then how did biological evolution happen if the surface of the earth was 300+ degrees F? I would contest that this folding of the rock layers in sedimentary rock must have formed while they were either really hot or…..while they were wet. Hmmm….if they formed while they were still wet I have a theory as to just how that could have happened. You see…..4500 years ago there was a flood…..
    2. Where is the scientific proof of a cold blooded animal ‘evolving’ into a warm blooded animal? This HAS to have happened to get a cell into a man over billions of years. I usually hear from the evo’s that ‘these bones look like these bones so this animal eventually changed into this animal’ as an argument or the old and dated ‘reptiles turned into birds so OBVIOUSLY an exothermic animal changed into an endothermic animal’. Once again, applying their evolutionary religion to the answer in order to make it fit their worldview. We know ‘these bones look like these bones so this animal eventually changed into this animal’ is a bunch of hogwash but even beyond that how would they account for pores? Sweat glands? The sweat glands attaching to the central nervous system and then to the brain and then the brain just ‘knows’ what to do with these sweat glands. How did evolution figure out what was ‘too hot’ for the organism and then to use these sweat glands and pores to help cool the endothermic animal down? In order to keep a newly ‘evolved’ endothermic organism cool these would have all had to evolve at the same time! You want to talk about faith! We need to convert these evo’s over to Christianity because they have some of the strongest faith in the WORLD!!!
    3. The last one is this…..it’s my favorite. Some DNA has error correction built into it. During transcription or replication certain enzymes can identify an error and correct it. You have GOT to be kidding me. How in the WORLD could this possibly have come about via natural processes. Evolution is a process. It has no CLUE if it’s made an error or not when a mutation occurs. The organism either lives and spreads the mutation on to the next generation or it dies. Period. Everything we know about the world around us tells us that in order to identify an ‘error’ in the first place there MUST be an intelligent designer on the back end to distinguish what is and what isn’t an error!!! No cell would ever be able to decide for itself what was/wasn’t an error let alone how to correct it if it wasn’t intelligently designed! The computer programs written today can’t fix their own errors unless the original programmer had it written into the code how to diagnose and fix the error when one occurrs. A student doesn’t know that 2+2 doesn’t equal 5 unless a teacher tells them that the answer is an ‘error’. A cell isn’t just going to develop a ‘random mutation’ that will give it the ability to diagnose whether the information coming out via replication is ‘correct’ or ‘not correct’ and then be able to FIX the error?!?! Come on…..Eric says it best when he talks about these atheists and evolutionists ‘suppressing the truth’. Now THAT’S speaking TRUTH! Ridiculous. All evo’s want to talk about when it comes to DNA are ERV’s and how it proves we came from monkeys but bring up the whole ‘error correcting’ stuff and they quickly run away screaming ‘LA LA LA I CAN’T HEAR YOU!!!!!’.
Mr. Hovind I just wanted to thank you again for helping me gain a new approach towards God’s creation and the world around us. God can’t make it any more clear to us that we are specially designed. Keep up the good work because there are people out there looking for the ‘logical evidence’ behind God and the Bible. I was one of them. My wife just knows that she knows that she knows because she’s seen God work in her life so she doesn’t need the ‘evidence’. I envy her for that but there are a lot of people that want to know the scientific evidence behind our existence and with all the evolution garbage that’s taught in our schools now it’s nice to see some people standing up and presenting the REAL evidence through REAL science instead of all this pseudoscience junk. I hope the above examples are things you can incorporate into your speeches and lectures. We need to get the word out to everyone that there are strong evidences against evolution and for God. I’ve really done my homework on these things and feel they’re pretty strong arguments. So far I’ve never found peer reviewed articles to counter them nor has anyone ever been able to answer them without basing their answers off of their own opinion and incorporation their evolutionary religion. Since you speak at universities and such maybe you can find a professor that has a good rebuttal for these but I’m not very optimistic at this point. God Bless.

Why is it that Christianity always get pushed aside as myth, but evolution is in fact taught as fact? I have a friend I debate with always who takes a more worldly view on spiritual matters. I try to do all out of love, but sometimes I feel as though I am hitting a brick wall.

Hi Dr. Hovind, Thanks for taking my question and I love your ministry. Before Adam and Eve fell did they have the same type of blood that we have after the fall? As we know, the blood that runs through our veins now carry a sentence of death, so what was it like before?

    Hi Dr. Hovind,

First off, I just want to say that my family and I pray for you and your ministry daily. We are so thankful for the things we have learned through you and Eric.

My question for you is this: Like you, I am a young-earth creationist, who believes in the Bible from cover to cover. I have heard many people claim to be born again Christians, even though they believe in either evolution or old-earth creationism. Do you believe that these people can really be saved if they won’t believe the first few chapters of Genesis to be historically accurate? In other words, can someone be a Christian and still believe in evolution or the gap theory?

Thanks, and looking forward to your answer,
    Jay

    Dr. Hovind,
I have wanted to write you about this for quite some time. Even before you went on leave. :)
I am a born again, led of God, lover of Jesus Christ, Christian. My back ground is such that I am in agreement with what you teach on health, vaccines, and such. I was so impressed that you knew some of what you taught and were/are brave enough to put yourself out there to teach it.
As for the Creation teachings, they were new to me. You held my interest and my daughters through every DVD no matter how many times they are played. We have listened several times to the DVD’s and learn something new each setting. I have shared them with many over these past few years. Your teachings answered questions I had as a child. They answered questions my daughter had that I could not answer.
God used the way I saw you, and quoted you, to get me to look into this whole Dr. Reams realm. It is not that long of a story really, but for an email it is. One day I hope to share it.
I hold no PhD and could never debate a neighbor much less a professor. But I do believe I have some truth here and wish to share it with you. It may make what you teach even more thorough than it already is. Make you loved even more than you already are. ;P
Dr. Reams was an ordained Baptist minister. He was an engineer, and held a PhD as a bio physicist. He was a bio chemist, a mathematician, the commissioner of Ag in the state of Fla. and friend to Einstein to name a few.
He was blown up in the war which left him paralyzed from the neck down for quite some time. Katheryne Kuhlman was the one God chose to use to heal him. She wrote a book entitled “I Believe in Miracles”. Chapter 2 was all about Dr. Carey Reams and his miraculous healing on Dec 31st 1959 in Pennsylvania. It was front page news. He said “God kept me alive for a reason”.
Once he began to teach years later, attempt’s to shut him up were many. His work was confiscated at one point and was never returned. He was poisoned and it nearly took his life.
He was placed in jail for practicing with out a license after finding a brain tumor in a young lady. Her medical doctor had referred her to Dr. Reams. Her doctor had discounted a brain tumor due to the tests and MRI results. Dr. Ream’s findings proved correct, even down to the location. Shortly thereafter he was arrested.
I would love it if you did study what this man taught as far as energy restoration, and it’s affects on health which is nothing short of physics. You would become very popular then. :)But what he taught on relative energy period is what I am hoping for at the very least. It’s a part of the whole Creation.
Dr. Reams says we were created in Their image (frequency). He formulated our frequency to be .0000024 and .0000026 and each animal had it’s own. Monkey’s he says “could not be related to man”.
Before Dr. Reams became a Baptist minister, he belonged to the S.D.A. church. He picked up some of their belief’s and hung onto to them even after he left that church. I believe some of what they teach to be true myself even though it is mocked by other churches. That does not make what he taught wrong nor does it invalidate it.
It is my understanding that Dr. Ream’s developed the hair analysis. But it did not give him the answers quickly enough, so he formulated a way to test body fluids that was much quicker. This method of testing will tell you anything from personality traits based on mineral deficiencies to a hangnail on your toe.
    Relative energy. E equals M C squared.
The sequence of events that started him teaching are just amazing as is the art of what he did and trying to make it easier for us to continue.
As a minister he taught that Adam and Eve before the fall were in anionic bodies that did not eliminate and had a much higher temperature than we do now. He believed that with the fall, our bodies became more and more cationic causing the body temperatures to fall and elimination to begin.
The flood and the suns energy according to what you teach would have intensified what he taught.
I know you would enjoy looking into this, and I know the body of Christ would be blessed if you did. Christians on a whole are afraid of the whole energy realm. I was, so I know.
There is some controversy in this area to be sure, even within it’s own realm, but still there are so many answers.
God is using a few of us to learn and teach this ministry which is no easy feat for me. For you, this would be easy, you would have this “in the bag”.
I would be blessed to help you get a hold of a few books and copy written transcripts for learning purposes.
Dr. Beddoe, Dr. Manthei, Dr. Skow also studied under Dr. Reams and they now teach. Some have written books.
I loved Dr. Beddoe’s “Nourishment Homegrown” book.
Promise Outreach has resources too. Mike and Su an RN and bio physicist run a healing retreat in Missouri. She teaches practical application and her program is 4 years.
There is a healing retreat in Tenn. and Washington State too.
I am taking a class in theory which takes only a year and is taught by Michael Olstza. Su and Michael both learned under Dr, Manthei.
I have introduced your teachings recently to a friend in my RBTI class taught by Michael Olstza. I told him you back up what Reams taught in a way, and visa versa.
If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know. And thank you for your obedience in Christ. I am praying for you and your family.
    Your sister in Christ,
    Yvonne

I really do not want to be telling people Jesus, and how God created the heavens and earth and be contradicting myself at the same time, because of wrong information I have gained in the past.

    Hi Dr. Hovind,

First, I want you to know that I have been very blessed by your ministry; I am so grateful for all that you, Eric, and the CSE team do for the Lord.

I am a young-earth-creationist, and I write about Creation vs. Evolution from time to time on my blog. I’m in the process of writing an article which centers partly on the Big Bang theory. I
have two questions for you. My first question is: What are your top five scientific reasons for considering the Big Bang theory to be implausible?

Also, I was reading a book written by two leading apologists (one was Norman Geisler, whom I believe is an old-earth creationist) in which they claim that because the universe is expanding, it must have a point (which they refer to as “nothing” — no time, space, or matter) to collapse into if we were to travel back to the beginning. They do mention, as you do, that if evolutionists say that the universe exploded from a dot or what-have-you, there is the question of where that dot came from. They advocate this nothingness because there was no “before” for the universe – no time, space, matter before the universe came into being. They use this to show that the universe had a beginning, and therefore, a Beginner. However, I am not sure where they reconcile this with God as the Creator of the universe (they go on to teach about
creation in the very next chapter). But they constantly reference “the universe exploding into being.” I believe that the universe came into being by God, as expressed in Genesis 1:1. It
does not seem to me that it is possible for the universe to collapse into nothing if God was there at the beginning and the earth was there (though it was “formed and unfilled”). I know
that “Nothing did not explode into something,” as you always say, so I would like to know what your view is on this. It seems to me that advocating the Big Bang as the start of the universe replaces God as its Creator (which is ironic, since the book sets out to prove the existence of God scientifically!) What do you think? What scientific evidence is there for the universe’s
    beginning?

Thank you so much for your time.

You and the CSE team are in my prayers.

    God bless,
    Christiana

I am a martial artist. I see everyday that the body was not made for fighting but can be adapted to it, in fact the body can adapt to so many things there is no way in one life time you can do more than a small percentage of the martial arts out there. It seems odd to me that the body can in one life time can adapt more than what the evolutionist say would take a couple hundred thousand years to evolve into. My question is how do I effectively present this information? Martial arts shows the buety and the physics of the body, and the adaptation to such an extent that through just that I can not buy into the evolutionist philosophy, but I do not know how to explain it well any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also on a side note check out x ray pictures of regular peoples bones and martial artist bones, depending on what they do the bones look significantly different.

    Hello Dr. Hovind

I have been curious about two subject matters fascinating me every since I was around 15 years old. They are “True” Biblical earth history and future earth prophecy. Over the last 30 years of my studies, I have come to believe a 6,000 year history for creation. I also believe we are about to witness the most magnificent event in world history, the return of CHRIST. From my study, I have a theory on how the flood actually happened. The physical attributes if you will. I believe there are two historical physical conditions we can see on the earth, we can study these to paint the picture of how it exactly happened.

Whatever the side of the debate you align with, you have to explain two phenomena, The Oceanic Ridges, and the 170-200 impact craters existing on the earth today. These are physical scars on the earth, and I believe from my study, these scars are directly connected to the flood. I have seen 3D computer models made of the earth as all one landmass, showing how the continents were once all connected at the Oceanic Ridges, with a diameter of about 2,200 miles. There were no oceans then, and all the water we see on the surface, were once the “fountains of the great deep” mentioned in Genesis. The Atlantic Ridge is the easiest to see, where North and South America joined with Europe and Africa. This isn’t the Pangaea theory per se, because in this theory the earth wraps around moving both Antarctica and Australia into the area of what is now the Pacific and they then connect with the Orient, Alaska, Russia, and the west coast lines of North and South America. The continents fit together like a spherical puzzle, remove the oceans, move the two largest islands into the area of the Pacific Ocean, and shrink the earth to around a 2,200 mile diameter, and presto, you have a pre-flood earth.

The other scars on the earth are the impact craters. I have seen on deferent secular sites, anywhere from 170-200 confirmed craters. Many of these craters are 100+ miles across. Now this is when you have to apply to your side of the debate, of when did these impacts take place. In the Evilution view, they are scattered out over whatever the number they have chosen at this time for the age of the earth, (they can’t seem to make up their minds or agree here). The question I have posed to some I know, is how many extinction events can a planet have and still be able to sustain life? I always get a weird, what are you talking about look here. I then explain, their current “belief system” (and they hate for you to call it that, btw) records one extinction event already, 65 million years ago, caused by a space object striking the earth. Well the historical account has physically recorded 100 or so impacts equal to or greater than, the one they base their belief system on. So under their theory the earth has experienced over 100 possible extinction events, how is it, any life exist??? The conversation is usually over at this point.

However as a 6000 year believer, we have to give an account for these impacts in our belief system. We basically have two choices, either these impacts were sporadic, or they all happened in the same time frame at a “special event”. If they are on average sporadically, the earth has been hit once about every 30 years on average. This didn’t happen, so our only choice to believe through the process of elimination, these impacts happened at the same “special event”, The Flood of Noah. I believe there was a planet between Mars and Jupiter, that exploded or was impacted by a large object, destroying this planet. The debris from this planet pelted the earth, and possibly Mars and the moon also. These impacts hit the earth hard, cracking the crust of the earth open, creating the Oceanic ridges we see today.

The water from the fountains of the great deep then burst forth from these ridges, shooting high into the atmosphere. There was enough pressure and water inside the earth to sustain this for 40 days and nights, raining back down, completely covering the earth’s surface. When the water was depleted, the pressures inside the earth were still pushing against the now broken crust of the earth, and it began to expand, further separating the land masses. The diameter of the earth began to expand at this point, after 150 days of expansion land began to appear as the area of the earth’s surface expanded and the waters were “able” to recede, and the atmosphere began to shrink from its great attitude. I believe the Bible accounts for this, by the decrease in the ages of the generations after the flood, as the earth expanded allowing more UV rays to penetrate the atmosphere.

My apology for being so long winded, but I was curious to your thoughts here. I wish you and your family well. I also hope any court decisions are in your favor. Win many souls while you are there, to GOD’S glory. Thank you for your time and interest, I believe we are from the same “sack cloth“, if you will. GOD Bless you, your brother in CHRIST.

      Dear Clint,
You are correct on several points but I disagree about the earth swelling or shrinking except the small amount the ground would subside into the cavity left as the “fountains of the deep” came to the surface. Walt Brown’s excellent book “In the Beginning” available from CSE is THE BEST to answer the issues including craters and scars on both the earth and the moon that I have seen. It can be read for free on his web site http://www.creationscience.com. I hope this helps. KH

  30. Airen Templeton October 18, 2010 4:14 am Reply

    Dr. Hovind,

First off, I am inspired by your creation videos. In the year 1999 if my memory serves me right, you debated an atheist professor at the university I was attending at the time (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh). I had been taking a course in which another professor heavily promoted his learned ideas of macro-evolution. After having witnessed the debate I was emboldened to question the professor. Thanks for the inspiration.

Secondly, I have a couple questions for you regarding the bible. In 2001 some of my deeply held beliefs were challenged. I believe the bible is the ultimate authority over man’s opinion (1 john 5:9-10), and I had to face the fact that I was not understanding the Word of God and had been taught man’s wisdom because my beliefs disagreed with God’s Word. I had been taught “once saved always saved”. In watching some of the clips of you on YouTube, it seems you believe that as well.

When I was first asked to look at this question, I was asked if I had the Holy Spirit. I said, “Absolutely, Yes!” Then I was asked if I ever knew I was about to break a commandment of God, and the Holy Spirit was warning me not to go forward with that sin, and yet I went ahead and sinned anyway. I said that I had. I gave the example of sexual sin. I was at the time not married, but had a boyfriend and though I had not had sex with him, I was doing things not appropriate for one who was not my husband.

I was then asked if the Holy Spirit had come to me just once or multiple times warning me, and yet me proceeding to go the other direction and I said, “Yes.”

I was then shown some verses including:

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins.

Jesus’ sacrifice does not pay for intentional or willful sins.

    Heb 6:4-6
[4] For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
[5] And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
[6] If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

There is no repentance (forgiveness) for those who willingly sin after they have been made to know the truth.

    Num 15:27-31
[27] And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
[28] And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
[29] Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.
[30] But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[31] Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

There is an obvious difference to God between ignorant sins and willful (presumptuous) sins.

At first I thought this was just “Old Testament mumbo jumbo” but upon a closer examination of Hebrews 10:24-29 “of how much sorer punishment if you sin willfully under the new covenant”

    And again:

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Ignorant sin is what Jesus says to forgive them for.

    1Ti 1:12-13
    [12] And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
[13] Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Saul obtained mercy BECAUSE he did it IGNORANTLY in unbelief

“Okay,” I said, “I see there is something to this that I haven’t seen before, but I’m not ready to just throw away what I have been taught. I need more proof. I mean, all sin is forgiven if we confess it, isn’t it?”

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

“Whew,” I thought. “I’m off the hook.”

    But what about this?

    Mat 12:31-32
[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
[32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Okay, yeah, sure. So there is ONE sin that is not forgiven and that can not be included in 1 john 1:9.

But is willful sin the same as blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?

    Let’s look at that:

The Holy Ghost is given to believers. The Holy Ghost reproves the world of sin and teaches and guides a believer into all truth. Part of His job is to convict a believer of sin and to provide the way of escape from the clutches of temptation. The Spirit says, “Hey you, don’t do that…you already know it is wrong.” And you have a choice whether to obey or to blaspheme (speak against) the Spirit.”

    1Jn 5:16-17
[16] If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
[17] All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

You can’t pray for or get forgiveness for a sin unto death, or blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, or willful sin. Those are the only one thing that God will not forgive because it is a deliberate rebellion against God after a person has the power (Holy Spirit) to overcome the world and chooses to go against it.

So then after I started to see these and more places where God clearly put a difference between ignorant and willful sins, I of course argued that David and Peter had sinned willfully, so I must be A-Ok still.

    Let’s look at Peter first:

    Luk 22:31-34
[31] And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
[32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and WHEN THOU ART CONVERTED, strengthen thy brethren.
[33] And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
[34] And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

    Mar 14:71-72
[71] But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.
[72] And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

Peter had not yet been converted. He was in ignorance. He did not yet have the Holy Spirit because Jesus had not yet gone to the Father.

    Joh 7:39
[39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

“Okay, sure,” I said. “That seems to make sense but didn’t Peter sin willfully AFTER he had been given the Holy Spirit when Paul rebuked him for the same sin he had been previously admonished of regarding that there is no difference between the Jews and Gentiles?”

All of Acts 10 is the first admonition where Peter was told to witness to Cornelius, a Gentile. And the conclusion:

    Act 10:34
[34] Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

The second admonition is when Paul rebuked Peter for the same sin. (Galatians 2:11-21)

So did Peter sin willfully because he had been admonished twice of the same sin after he had the Holy Spirit?

    No.

    Tit 3:10-11
    [10] A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
[11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

After the first and second admonition is when God says to reject. Okay, so Peter was “safe” because he repented after the second admonition.

Jezebel, not safe because during the space to repent (the first and second admonition), she did not repent :

    Rev 2:20-21
[20] Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
[21] And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Another who did not repent during his two admonitions is Solomon:

    1Ki 11:9-11
[9] And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him TWICE,
[10] And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept NOT that which the LORD commanded.
[11] Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

So then back to David. He was rebuked by Nathan regarding his sin with Bathsheba. And we don’t hear again of David committing the same sin again after that point. Okay, so David was within his space to repent, within the two admonitions.

But what about you and I? Would you say that you have willfully sinned against the Holy Spirit as I said I had done multiple times?

    In sincere love and truth,

    Airen Templeton

    Hey Dr Hovind

We are both from New Zealand and have been watching your creation seminars DVD (and we both love them and have learnt so much).

You may be aware of the NZ native bird the Kiwi, an amazing flightless bird. How would the Kiwi and other NZ creatures, get to New Zealand? What is your theory on this?

Appreciate you taking the time to answer questions. We are praying for you and your family, our brother in Christ.

    Thanks,

      Dear Andrew,
Thanks fro your question about how Kiwi’s got to NZ. I cover the topic some on video #6 of my series. After the flood the oceans were much smaller because the earth had huge ice caps. trapping lots of ice at the poles has the effect of lowering the sea level and exposing all the land bridges. The water between Australia and SE Asia is normally less than 100 feet deep. Lowering the oceans just a few hundred feet ( they average 12,000 feet deep) would connect all the continents. As the populations of animals spread out after the flood the ice was also melting back. It may be that the final separation took place in the days of Peleg in Gen 10:25. See Sem #6 and let me know if you need more!

    Dr. Hovind,

A friend and I have been having a discussion on marriage licenses. Her position (based on Romans 13) is a marriage license is needed. My position is, a license from the state is not needed, as it’s (1) a God given right, (2) a license implies the state is placing itself above God, and (3) a license implies the state is a part of the marriage. It would be great if you could find the time to weigh in on this, as we both highly respect your opinion.

I agree that the state has no business in a covenant from God. You may find good info on http://www.remediesatlaw.com or just google Marriage Covenant and you will find a ton of info. The other consideration is- is that a fight worth fighting? Worth dying for? Worth breaking up a relationship for? Was Naboth right to refuse to sell his vinyard? I Kn 21. Was John the Baptist right to oppose King Herod? Was Bonhoeffer right to oppose Hitler? Does being right mean you always win? Hmmmm. Pray about it.

However, I was stumped the other day when a co-worker claimed that scientists have traced tree ring data back at least 60,000 years. Hi Dr Hovind,

I am hoping you can help with this. I have just recently brought a new Bible, and after a few months research I chose the KJV (defenders Bible) and LOVE it. I had come from reading the NIV and been brought up with the knowledge of the KJ being inaccerate and outdated. But God showed me otherwise!
I am currently living with a pastor and told him how I had just brought a new Bible, being the KJV (thinking he would be pleased about this) but no. He got quite angry and upset about me being decived and how he wasn’t happy about me reading it. Now, I got quite peeved off about this and thankfully I had a class to go to, so I got out of that discussion. I don’t have the knowledge to defend the King James. So I wondered if you could recommend any books that I could read, and cite to people? I know that I am going to get the same response from my family so I want to read up as much as I can about it.

Thanks for taking the time reading this and I look forward to reading your reply.

You will likely have a large following when you are released and will make large amonuts of money, this could lead to more unfortunate developements depending on your actions. One of my biggest questions is your feelings on 9/11 and other attacks in our country. I’ve seen several places that you believe the government was involved. Is it true that you believe this? I would rather hear it from you than read it on the internet on some random site.

    Dr. Kent,
First off I just want to let you know that you are definitely on my prayer list as is your family and the ministry that all of you work in.

But anyways, I do have a conundrum in my head. Now, I am a creationist, but I sometimes wonder if our interpretation of adaptation goes far enough. One thing I noticed is that the curse of decreased age in Genesis takes a few generations to really kick in. So I wonder about the fall of man and its effect on the rest of creation. I know that you used fruit bats as an example of it being ok that there were ferocious looking teeth pre-fall, but I’m sure that there were many other things that could have drastically changed so that predators could catch their prey and so that the prey could get away and I wonder how drastic some of those changes may have been and if they might cross the boundaries of what we consider as kinds of animals. And then there’s the curse of the serpent. God cursed it to go on it’s stomach, but the Bible does not give any information (as far as I can tell anyways) on if it was instant, or over time, such as the age curse. If that is the case, even if it is the same animal, that drastic of a change would be considered a successful example of cross species evolution wouldn’t it?. If the world that we have now looks completely different than the world in the past, and if humans are a mere shade of what we used to be as to make scientists think that our ancestors were a totally different species then wouldn’t it be correct to infer that the animals are vastly different than what they were? Now, I’m not saying that the Earth is billions of years old, but I am wondering if we are limiting the effects of our fall too much, or even if we should go back and redefine the definitions of our position so as not to cause a gap in communication. The belief that God put the animals directly on the earth (and did not grow them from a pitri dish) is perfectly fine, but should we maybe concede that the changes that happened to them after the fall might fit the definitions of macro evolution up to the point of what the anatomies of the original kinds were? If I rambled too much I am sorry. Thanks in advance for the help.

    God Bless,
    Stephen Sorensen

Hello Dr. Hovind I have just recently watched all seven of your videos and a few of your debates, I would just like to say that youve done awesomely at what I’ve always wanted to do which is to find all the solid evidence of creation, that I always thought should be easly seen, understood, and explained. And you’ve done that and in doing so cleared a lot up for me. I’ve known about the Lord from being taught in a Seventh Day Adventist church, and puplic school presented evolution to me for about just as long. I hade always felt doubtful about the so called evidence broght up for evolution but in high school it almost overwhelmed me. But almost three years ago now I ran across someone named J walter vieth from north or south africa and he explained the NWO and showed undenialbe evidence of Its existance that the Jesuits, pope, Masons, and all the secret organizations of the world left themselves through actions in history and qouts and all that good stuff that reveals the deception going on in this world. You gave me a quick review of the NWO and I can say they both your messages and Revalations are almost perfectly in tune with each other. I would like to know what you think of the Sabbath, do you believe it was changed to Sunday biblicly, or do you just disagree with going to church on Saturday because its a day of rest? I do think its ok to go and worship anyday but the Sabbath is something special to show that Its Gods law that we obay not mans law. Where are you are coming from?

These guys didn’t have a chance, and I’m sure many of them knew it. You being in prison just goes to show that the path of truth is extremely narrow. I just wanted to say thank you ever so much for standing up for Lord Jesus and the truth (and, of course, people) at all costs. I know this must be an unbelievably unpleasant experience for you, but I just know that the testimony that you come out with is going to be even more powerful that what you went in with.

What would you tell them? i think our genome has like 100,000 ervs and 10 in common with chimps.

Evolution is satans greatest tool to destroy faith in the Word of God for kids especially. You are going to have a BIG ol mansion in Heaven bud. invite me over when we get there. thanks

    hi,

i read Kent Hovind article about death, he explain that when you die you go directly to hell or heaven… well this is unBiblical…

where in the Bible can you read that???

if everybody is judjed imediatly after one dies(e.g he goes in heaven or hell), then whet is the purpose of the judjment day at the second coming of Jesus Christ???

what He will judge if everybody was already judged at death???

where do you read in the Bible that somebody is in heaven, others than the 24 elders, Jesus Christ(God) and the angels??

whats your opinion about this article:

”In Luke 16:19-31, Jesus tells a parable that has led to a lot of controversy. Some people believe that the teaching—a story about a rich man and a beggar who die and go to hell and heaven—is to be taken literally, and gives proof that God’s people go to heaven immediately after they die.

However, others show us that the language and setting of the story are figurative. Most scenes in the parable contradict the teachings of Scriptures, indicating that Jesus was telling the story to convey a larger truth.

    The Context
Throughout history, God had named the Israelite people His own. The nation had been highly favored by God as His children, and as the recipients of His truth.

The Jews were called to use the truth God gave them to lead other nations to God. For this reason, God placed them at the crossroads between the great nations and trade routes of that time.

However, instead of fulfilling their mission, the Jews had become self-centered, claiming salvation only for themselves. While priding themselves in their exclusivity, they had nevertheless embraced heathen teachings, including lies regarding the afterlife, but always with the provision that their heritage would get them into heaven.

In His story about Lazarus the beggar, Jesus speaks against the hypocrisy of these views.

    The Plot
The story begins with a wounded beggar named Lazarus. He lay everyday at the gate of a rich man, who was too busy dressing himself in purple robes and white linen to show Lazarus any pity.

One day, both men died. Lazarus was taken to heaven where he sat next to Abraham. The rich man, however, was sent to hell where he remained in torment.

Seeing Lazarus in heaven, and still believing himself to be better than the beggar, the rich man concocted a plan. He told Abraham to send Lazarus down to give him a drink.

When Abraham said no, the rich man begged him to at least send Lazarus to warn his family about the torments of hell. But Abraham simply said, “You’ve had the prophets to warn you. Why would your family listen to Lazarus when they ignored the messengers God already sent?”

    The Lessons

Jesus told this story as a sharp rebuke to the Jewish religious leaders. In the parable, the rich man represents the Jewish nation, and the poor man represents the Gentiles.

The rich man had the knowledge of the King of kings (purple is the colour of royalty), and the means to attaining righteousness (white linen). But as the parable unfolds, Jesus turns the viewpoint of the Jewish leaders on its head by placing the rich man in “hell” and the poor man in “Abraham’s bosom.”

Jesus was saying that personal status does not guarantee salvation. He was telling the Jews that they could only find salvation in God’s grace, not their own works or lineage. The Jews claimed Abraham as their father (John 8:39), but in the parable “Father Abraham” was unable to help the rich man.

The New Testament states that those who are in Christ are Abraham’s seed (Galatians 3:29), and that Christ came to restore the wounded and brokenhearted. Only those who realize their own spiritual poverty and need for Christ can attain His blessings.

Through this story, Jesus was also revealing to the disciples their new task: to break tradition and preach the Gospel with power to the Jews and the Gentiles alike.

As each scene unfolds in the parable, it conveys a spiritual truth contrary to the mindset of the Jewish leaders. The modern trend of taking this parable literally in order to support the doctrine of hell does great injustice to the intent of the story, and causes us to miss the deeper message it holds.

    Conclusion
According to the Bible, death is a state of unconscious sleep. This does not mean that there is no record in heaven of the sleeping saints. God knows our being, our very nature, and when He calls forth the sleeping saints, they rise with imperishable bodies and the characters that they have formed under His guidance.

The Biblical record of death, far from being disturbing, is comforting. Our ancestors are not watching our every mistake and feeling the pain of our wrong choices. They are blissfully unaware of unfolding events as they sleep until the day of the resurrection. If we are strengthened by these Biblical truths, the deceptive power of false teachings and miracles can have no hold over us. We will be better prepared to stand in the last days.”

if you could forward this email to Mr. Hovind and you could forward me hes respnd to me it would be nice…

    Dr. Hovind,
Everything you have told me is helpful. It held me back from believing in this dumb evolution religion. I got 3 people converted from evolution to creation using your power point slides. Mr biology teacher said that the Bible is contradictory because he said there was separate creations in Genesis. What do you say to that?

Questions to Kent Hovind, about the seven bad years beginning in 2011.

    1-Where did you hear this?

    2-Why do you believe this?

3-Is your book the subject of these seven years?

4-Why do believe it’s the tribulation?

    My background Check.

I grew up in the Willamette valley-most of my life, forty three years to be exact. I got saved, married, and we raised our children there in Oregon. We attended the Jefferson Baptist Church for twelve years. During our last years there our doctrinal views began to change, I couldn’t find their rapture theory in the Word of God. Many there believed, once saved always saved, but I saw and knew that some were still continuing to willfully sin. Having experienced the infilling of the Holy Spirit at that time, I knew that this was the power inside to live the christian life. Only through the work and power of the Divine Spirit of God, can we have victory over sin and the devil. All the education in Private and seminary schools, training in bible colleges, can never replace the need for the leading and teaching, and conviction of the Holy Spirit. Only as we yield and surrender our lives to Him, can we have power and strength to mortify the deeds of the flesh. Only through His Spirit, can we have intimacy and know His deep love for us. Only then can we be the vessels, where God uses us to touch others with His Divine life. No matter what our circumstances are in life, we can have the love of God for our neighbors and enemies. Peace and joy even in our darkest trials.

To many put their trust and hope in the flesh of man, but our hope and trust is in the Lord of Glory. Who is immortal and the only image of the invisible God.

We will keep praying for you and your family.

    God bless,

    Will and Family.

    A coincidence, I don’t think so.

1.-We moved to Idaho in June 2002,and have lived there now for eight years. It was a hot and dusty day in June 2004. I was working out on the prairie near CDA, when the Holy Spirit spoke to me very clearly. He told me, seven more good years and then seven bad years. I will strip the gold from the rich and give it to the poor.

2.- According to that date, the bad years would begin in JUNE 2011.

3.- While praying and reading the Word of God in 2010, I was given a vision from God. I saw a bridge all mangled and broken. At once I knew this bridge from a picture I had seen. Then I saw the city from across the bridge, it was San Fransisco, on fire and torn apart. The next minute, I was on a hill looking down upon a different city. The only way I recognized it was the Space Needle. Then it was as if I had closed my eyes, for when I looked again it was gone. Just as if it had sank into the ground.

4.-In January of 1994, my wife and I were in a little community hall. The first experience for us, where the Holy Spirit was so heavy upon me and others. It was there, for first time in my life, I stood up and gave a word of knowledge. This is what the Spirit said to me. The Willamette Valley would run red with blood. At that time I had no idea what it meant, only later on as it has been revealed to us.

5.- Since the year 1994 through 2010. God has been showing my family and I that a day is coming when the ocean will come in and cover the Willamette Valley. We believe from being triggered by a great earthquake. I have asked God when. All I have heard is that it is at the door.

    6.-More conformation. Grace-Mercy Ministries-Brother Ray of Heppner,OR.

Within six weeks after Mt. St. Helens blew the second time, I was traveling westward on I-48,just east of Biggs Junction. As I came around a curve I was looking directly at Mt.Hood and I saw a birds-eye view of that mountain range from Vancouver, B.C. to Mt. Shasta, California. The Holy Spirit said, “There will be a day that you will not be able to get across that mountain range by road from east to west nor from west to east; only from around B.C.on the north and around Mt. Shasta to the south or by air.” When the Lord said, “you” I believe He was saying in my lifetime.(I am 78 now). In 2009.

7.-From a friend of Brother Ray in 2009.

Approximately two years ago a friend of his from Idaho, who walks in the prophetic, called him after he had this dream/vision. He was traveling on Hwy. 197, south of the Dalles, to visit some relatives. Close to Tygh Valley he drove up to a huge mud slide that was sixty foot plus high covering the highway. In the Spirit he could see all roads over the mountain closed by rock and dirt slides, as far as he could see to the north and the south. The whole Cascade Range was covered by tall black clouds with lightening flashing inside them. He said that the storm was a bit strange as it seemed to be stopped over the mountain range and not blowing toward the east as they generally do. I have witnessed this brother’s accuracy a number of times and I respect it. Somehow he knew the damage and major problems were located on the mountains for now. Travel across the Cascades was cut off for many hundreds of miles north and south of where he was standing. He understood it would take a long, expensive effort to reopen any route and that possibly some new diversions from the existing grade route would be necessary. All of the storms, mud, rocks and flooding were unusually concentrated in a long, narrow, north and south direction and he knew there would be flooding west of the Cascades.

Adolf Hitler was actually Catholic, so burn goes your opening presentation. And at least we still have Jewish people. In the Christian Crusades Christians wiped out entire religions. And stating that Satin and God have a plan, how do you know. Did you have a conversation with them. By saying Islams kill anyone not apart of their religion, that takes us back to those darned crusades. Don’t be so hypercritical. And before you go on saying that Christianity is the truth, remember that it is based off of two naked people, a talking snake, and an invisible man in the sky,

    Dr.Hovind,
I first got familiar with your ‘theory’ and teaching thru cable tv. Of course you’re on at 1:30am, but I have a DVR. You have answered so many questions that I didn’t understand. And the sad thing – most of it is just common sense and taking God literally at His word.
My question is this: Any time I’ve seen a fire it burns until the fuel has been consumed. If the world were billions or even millions of years old wouldn’t the sun have been so big it would have been touching the earth, and over the eons of time burned up its gases until it is where it is today? I hope you don’t think this is a stupid question, but I’ve thought many times about why the liberals can’t see that. Nothing could evolve in those conditions.
Thank you for the opportunity to ask & God bless your ministry.

    Dear Mr. Hovind,
I have watched your Creation Series on TV, and I applaud you for your astute explanation and defense of Creation. I agree with you totally that the Bible is the literal word of God, and no “interpretation” is required to discover the Creation. I tell friends, “Just read what it says, and you’ll know the truth.” I only wish your presentations were aired on more secular stations like Discovery, History, etc. You should make every attempt possible, if you have not already done so, to get exposure to those who would never think to watch religious channels.

However, I do have a beef with you. Every once in awhile you throw in some disparaging comment about Catholics. Now, you are entitled to your view, but I will throw back to you the very thing you teach about evolutionists. It’s amazing how two people can look at the same data and come away with different views. I ask that you apply your own teaching to your own view of Christianity. How is it that you can read Church history and come away with the belief that Catholicism is not the Church founded by Jesus? How is it that you can reconcile how there is but one Catholic Church, the same one for 2000 years, and yet there are 30,000 or so denominations of the Protestant faiths? Have you ever asked yourself the question about Protestantism, “So which one is the true one?”

You see, Sir, as the evolutionist ignores the facts out of pride, so does the Protestant. There is a saying that to study Church history is to cease to be Protestant. How can the Protestant read Jesus’ words “This is my body, etc” and yet come away with Eucharistic symbolism? This is but only one example.

I am not trying to impose my beliefs upon you. I ask you do the same and respect my religious affiliation as I do yours. A reply would be nice.

Thank you for your work in Creationism,
    Joe DeAngelo

    Dear Dr. Hovind

I am currently studying 4th year Electrical and electronic engineering in a university in South-Africa. I came across your DVD set one day and it changed my life forever. I am an intelligent man, and analyze and question everything….I believe in the bible, I take it seriously….

I believe that God has watched over me my entire life, and i would not be here today if this was not the case… I strongly believe in God and Jesus Christ as my savior and I believe that all people should be saved… if they accept Jesus….Romans 8.1

I was Raised in the New Apostolic Church, where things like said in this website…. jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/new_apostolic_church.htm

    happens…

The church says that in the bible times the apostels were given the holy spirit(comforter) by Jesus. As I understand, all the apostels died… Now sometime ago the New Apostolic Church was founded. new apostels were apointed and te rest can be read on wikipedia…..

We use the King JAmes Version of the bible… and i believe it is the most accurate one i can acquire today….

What is your opinion on the NEW apostolic church,…. take into account my whole family is party of the church… except for my eldist sister who became a hindu and now lives in Bolivia…

God has been good to us sofar.. and i pray for all people to recieve his word and grace….

I DO NOT BELIEVE: The church is part of the devils work… yes the reason i dont go anymore is because i want to believe that all people can be saved…not only if you get sealed with the holy spirit…..

I EVEN prayed for michal jackson and my uncles when they died….

I WANT TO BELIEVE you still can get saved after you die…but i think when you die you immediately wake up at the judgment day….

What must i do? I WANT TO go to church, but all of them teach the 10 commandments you must follow otherwise hell,,,,,,WHAT about Romans 8:1????

I HOPE you can lend me your knowledge on this…

    I wish i could’ve met you….

Dear Dr. Hovind, i cant put into words the impact youve made in my life. I had always knew there was something out there but never knew exactly what it was. My friend (who had recently been converted through your teachings) showed me your 100 reasons why evolution is so stupid. i never believed in evolution because, well… its stupid. But your undeniable logic swayed me to better my life and accept God. I get asked all the time, “what if your wrong?” i just say “at least i lived a better life, what if your wrong? what would God think of you not believing in him?” so far i havent swayed anyones thinking, but im working on it. But yes, at the very least, if me and you are wrong (yeh right…) at least we lived a better life. I love you for what you do, and i hope you come to my town (Marshfield, MO) someday so i can shake your hand and thank you. Iv got a LOAD of people that would love to see you, and some that need to see you. Good Luck and God Bless

    Dr. Hovind,

I came across a video that you stated that oil was created by the decomposition of animals and plants that were buried by the effects of the flood. Do you believe oil to be a fossil fuel? I have read that J.D. Rockefeller proposed this idea in the 19th century so as to increase his profits in oil. I have also read that oil wells thought to be empty are refilling. Rev 6:6 states, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” I believe we will have enough oil to last until the end of time and that we will never run out. Have you changed your belief in the origin of oil?

    Dr. Kent Hovind,
I was looking up your name to find some of your seminars, and i found this. I was very saddened to find out that you were incarcerated but i feel that i have a word of encouragement. My dad is a pastor and was in the hospital for a month ater having a heart attack,he has been having allot of health problems, and is now disabled. It has been very hard on him and us to gi though illness, but when he was in the hospital he used it for the good of the lord. People would talk with him and ask questions about God. he really got a change to witness. He told me that God uses bad things fro good, and reminded me of the book os Esther where it says God has brought you here for such a time as this. I know the hospital is different than jail or prison, But my point is that I am praying that you can witness to people and make a big impact. I think your a really great evangelist, and my dad like you alot too! We will be praying for you, and please never loose faith, Its hard when the world gets us down like that, and i don’t understand why things happen to good people sometimes, but comapred to eternity, hard times that we go through on earth are nothing. You will be rewarded in heaven for your evengelism. Many propets and desciples were prosecuted, and sat in jail. When you get out, {i hope soon!} i cant wait to see you evengelizinbg again! God bless you, and sincere prayers for you.

    Dear Mr.Hovind

I am a Canadian who is very fond of your work, your ministry of creation has aided me to confront teachers on evolutionary false and creation facts. My entire family watched your videos and we all have been impacted by them. However, meaning no disrespect, I don’t see how such a Godly man could be in such a predicament. I’ve been praying for you Kent, and praying that this ordeal may be settled and you can return to your ministry. I’d like to email you sometime and i feel that you still have allot to teach.

My mother has been suffering in her job and in an outreach to God for help i read this passage.

    Daniel 3:24
then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? they answered and said unto the king, True, o king he answered and said, Lo, i see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

well i told her how that though she feels like the world may fall in on her, God is in the midst of our trials, and is keeping us from harm. Also if you remember what happened to those men who tossed them into the furnace were killed by their own cruelty of heating the furnace so hot. well good luck and may God be in your midst. Please message back

    Sincerely: Justin the Canadian

My Reply: The above comment demonstrates just how uninformed some people are, and being an atheist just magnifies the problem. Hitler being a Catholic, or of any other religion for that matter, has little to do with what he was. There are even atheists who are despicable. Secondly, the Crusades were not originated by the Christians. They were a response to the robbery, killing, and take-over of the Holy Lands being done by the Muslims. If the Muslims were not so intent on taking over the world and force-converting everyone to Islam, there would have been no need for the Crusades. Also, you need to put the Crusades into the context of their times. What are considered atrocities today were commonplace centuries ago. And your comment about the Crusades wiping out entire religions is ridiculous. All religions attempt to convert others, but the hypocracy in your statement is that no other religion does it as violently as Islam does. Islam is not the religion of peace…read the Koran and the Hadiths and you will discover that Islam is a theo-political system founded by an illiterate warlord for the sole purpose of conquering. Finally, your comments about God having a plan and what Christianity is based upon further demonstrate your position against religion in general. The irony is that choosing to be an atheist is exercising the very nature of our being…that God has created us with free will. Atheists, and as an extenion, evolutionists, pride themselves in claiming they are logical, rational, and free thinkers. If you open your mind to the contrary, you will discover that atheism and evolution are the products of closed hearts and minds, and that those who position themselves in such babble do so in total rejection of what the facts and the evidence show.

So, my friend, you are entitled to your opinions. But before you blow off steam, try understanding the opposing view. You might discover a wealth of knowledge that you have been missing by closing your eyes to the evidence.

I will pray for you. God works in strange ways.
